Well tonight I cooked up the soup just as described in Rob's thread. It took me over an hour to chop up the ingrediants. I think next time I will buy the sliced carrots and pay someone to chop the rest, I am not a very good chopper. I will post every day for the next 7 how I feel on it, just for something to type I guess. And at the end I will weigh myself and post. Right now my weight is a 210, and I hope to lose as much as possible. I also will not weigh myself until the end as I kind of dont want to see how much if any is lost. I do not really exercise but a few years back I did. So I will attempt to walk daily every night just to see if it may help shed a few pounds. Maybe 1 mile a night. So tommorow morning I will have my first cup of soup for a meal, notice I did not say breakfast as I think I would not be able to eat it at that point.

I hope I enjoy it so that I may be doing this :dancefool after the first

bowl and not this :pucking: . And maybe if this 7 day diet thing works

and I can keep the weight off my wife will be doing more of this

:shaking:

Instead of this :puppy: .

See ya tommorow.

Good luck -- see it through, all worth it for quick weight loss, manage when you get off diet - don't splurge. Predicting I do this again in OCtober and thats fine. On day 3 you will feel great, also 4 - good energy.

and by the way, yes - you will be passing the wind -- big time!

I read the original thread for this and want to find out something. How is everyones energy level doing? Some people had mentioned they lost 7-10 pounds but never mentioned there energy. Let me know how you guys are feeling, the lack of protein worries me for how much I work out.

Denny will keep you posted on a daily basis. This morning I had my first bowl and to my surprise was very good. I will update each night for the 7 days, so that it is not just one post for each bowl I eat. I will also explain how I felt after each day.

Passing, how tall are you? If you dont mind me asking.

Only asking because 210 can mean anything. It could mean you only need to lose a few or need to lose 50.

Well, the end of day 1. It was a bit tough, before I started this I would say I was not a great eater. With kids at home I was def. the kind of dad the eats a few twinkies here and their. Today I did not, I had 4 bowls of soup. By the end of the day just drinking water and soup I noticed I was a bit weak and can see why the first two days are the hardest and why the third you may feel like you are getting more energy. I would assume that is because you can introduce skim milk and bannanas.
I cannot wait until tommorw night so that I may eat my bake potato with a bit of butter. I am actually think about that bastard right now. In any event it felt like somewhat of a long day, I did hate it and was very cranky. I like to eat what I want when I want but I really want to see how this works out. Like I said earlier I will weigh myself at the end of the week to see how and if I lost any, and when I started I was 210.
Oh and before I forget my bowels were loser today and had a light brown color. Not sure if that was because of the color of the soup or what. I do believe that the farther the week goes the easier it gets because small things such as fruit or veggies are introduced. Not only do I get a baked potato tommorow night but I get veggies during the day.
See ya guys tommorow night and I will let you know how day 2 is going. I did not get a chance to actually go walking tonight as I was settting up a fish tank in my home (90 gallon) but I will def. be going tomm. night.

Finished Day 2 and it was def. very hard for me. Like I said earlier I like to eat what I want when I want. I think today will be alot easier as I like veggies and fruits. I will pig out on fruits which should get me through the day. I was not going to weigh myself until the end but I did last night before bed and it appears I lost 5 lbs so far. Even though the first two days I did feel tired at night and a lack of energy it is worth losing the 5lbs, lets see how today goes.

3rd day even easier and I did get energy back, it must be the thought of being able to have some real food in a few days. Tomm. is no fat milk and bannannas. Did not have much time to type as I have been busy losing not only weight but money as well with my wagers. Good Luck and will be back tomm. to update.

Today is beef, beef, beef, with veggies veggies veggies, tomm. is my last day. I am very happy with how I feel right now. I have not weighed myself in a few days but my body does seem to have adjusted to the shit intake I normally would digest and what I have digested the past few days since started. My final weight will be taken tomm. night and I hope to at least lost between 7-10 lbs. I think that would be great. I am going to go and get my first little piece of beef ready in a few. Be back tomm. night with my final analysis and my final weight.

good to read your updates ptw. Hang in there and keep your mind off food. Sounds as if you were one of those who didn't get that nice energy boost somewhere along the line - sorry to hear that.

Honzie, around the 3rd day I did get somewhat of a boost but not much as time went on it was much easier. Well after the 7 days I am glad to announce that I lost a total of 12 POUNDS!!!! Pretty darn good. I am planning on using this diet maybe every 3 months to shed more and in the interim I plan on using regular maintence and good foods to try to lower my weight just a tad. Very impressed by the diet and thanks to Rob for putting it up for us to read.
